Project 1PLACE2, in free translation sounds like "In place" will be presented by the Foundation within the program of the Second Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art. The project unique feature is one exhibition opening as the result of another, the collaboration between German and Russian artists, resembling at once a workshop, where it is not clear who is the teacher and who is a student, and a group therapy class, while documentary screenings. To think over a city space, to try and create its model within the museum halls is a task for our fellow Max Sudhues, together with Sven Stuckensmidt and Andreas Maerker. Russian side is presented by such known names as Anatoliy Vyatkin, Natalia Khokhonowa, as well as younger artists with prominent portfolios: Sasha Saltanowa, Kirill Voronkov and Olga Lokshina, Kirill Borodin. What will this be? Just a little patience.. |
